We are now looking to hire a Bunker Trader to the London team. The Oil & Gas industry is hectic and fast-paced; we are therefore seeking a dynamic and spirited candidate to fill this role.
Our well-established business operates from offices in Lagos and London. This role is based at our Central London office (Victoria), and requires interaction with domestic and international clients.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in commodities and/or shipping alternatively a strong sales and client management background. This role requires involvement with our Operations department, therefore excellent verbal and writing communication skills and good client management is imperative.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of sales and business development experience. You will be confident, driven, dynamic, proactive and committed to join a growing organisation to develop your career further. You will have excellent communication skills, high levels of self-motivation, integrity and excellent time management skills. Tasks / Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop new client relationships (incl. travelling overseas)
- Attend industry events, client meetings etc.
- Identify and maximise sales opportunities / Follow up and generate new sales leads
- Develop trading strategies in accordance with agreed objectives
- Ensure sales proposals are followed up, tracked and submitted to Senior management within given deadlines
- Maintain excellent contact and relationship with clients
- Ensure relevant sales databases (CRM) and market information is updated and written reports completed within set deadlines
- Submit weekly reports on sales activity to relevant Manager detailing all client contacts and leads outstanding
- Analyse and monitor market trends and cycles
- Understand client and market demands
- Ensure good relation and information sharing with our other offices and staff
- Attend daily Sales and Operation calls and meetings with the Company
- Ensure that efficient service is supplied to clients
- Other duties as may be required and directed from Senior Management
