Refining

OMSA has successfully established a 10,000 barrels per day indigenous refinery in Kwale, Delta State, to refine crude oil and supply clean fuels including Automotive Gas oil, fuel Oil, Naphtha and Dual-Purpose Kerosene.

As a part of our quality assurance policy to provide the best quality products to our customers, OMSA has invested in a state of the art, 10,000 barrels per day modular refinery that will be operational from Q4 2019.

The modular refinery is being built in several phases, and in the last phase will see an increase of capacity to 60,000 barrels per day. The refinery will produce ultra-low sulphur content gas oil, fuel oil, naphtha and kerosene.

The modular refinery is located in Delta State, Nigeria and will be operated by our joint venture company OPAC (Omsa Pillar Astex Company).

By owning and operating our own refinery, tank storage and fleet of tankers, we can closely monitor and manage the full supply chain and thereby guarantee the quality of our products, from the refinery all the way to customer delivery.
